Ramdex is a combination of Chloramphenicol with Dexamethasone. Chloramphenicol is a bacteriostatic antibiotic with a broad spectrum of action against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria as well as some other pathogenic organisms. Dexamethasone is one of the most potent glucocorticosteroids which is 5-14 times more potent than prednisolone and 25-75 times more potent than cortisone and hydrocortisone.

Ramdex Eye Drops is indictaed in Acute purulent conjunctivitis, recent inflammation of the superficial and
deeper corneal layers and corneal ulceration, keratitis disciformis and the more deep-seated forms of post-herpetic keratitis, allergic conjunctivitis, allergic blepharitis, acute and chronic iritis and iridocyclitis.
